Time piece was initially created as an early Neo-baroque work in the 1960s and it hung in Coetzee's dining room in
Tulbagh. Here, he later modified it by adding new elements every now and again. This artwork, like many other objects
such as ceramics, glass, metals and even shoes were considered 'living projects' as these objects were coloured and
painted by Coetzee when the mood took him. |
