dc.description |
This bronze figure of an assumingly older woman is doing ballet. The work is oddly static, and it appears as if the dancer en pointe is standing in a frozen pose. It was commonly known that Eloff used performing dancers in his studio so he could sculpt them as moving figure subjects. |
