dc.description |
In the late 1920s Eloff stayed in Vienna with the composer Franz Lehar. This figure is possibly a young Finnish dancer named Irja Margareta Hagfors (1905-1988), a female friend of Lehar. This bronze sculpture was donated by Fransie Nolte to the Pretoria Art Museum. |
