dc.description |
George Henry Brink (1877 - 1958) was the Mayor of Pretoria between 1922 and 1925. Eloff created a cement fondue (commonly used for exterior sculptures as it is shrink and heat resistant) sculpture of Brink and sent it to the Pretoria City Council in 1929 from Paris. The work was placed as Brink’s headstone in 1958 in the Rebecca Street Cemetery in Pretoria West, but has since been stolen. |
