In 1919 at the end of the First World War General Louis Botha (1862 - 1919) was treated as a hero due to the victories of the African campaign. Botha died in the same year and Eloff created a small bronze commemorative portrait. This work is currently in the Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns Collection in the Engelenburg House in Pretoria. |
