This is Eloff’s bronze bust of the Boer General Christiaan Rudolf de Wet (1854 - 1922). In a 1947 obituary to Fanie Eloff there is a photograph of the artist sculpting De Wet. This work is currently in the Ditsong National Cultural Historical Museum in Pretoria.
