dc.description |
In works such as this one Bettie Cilliers-Barnard started producing simpler
compositions with unusual and heterogeneous spiritual perspectives by creating
new symbols. Horse-like mythical figures are placed on a jagged light
background in an impasto with a bas-relief effect. |
