dc.description |
In a work such as this, showing three simplified African figures, decorative
considerations influence the content as well as the form of the composition. The
flat perspective and interlocking colour planes point to the Fauve tendency of
eliminating the third dimension and forming a decorative surface pattern of
interlocking colour planes. |
