dc.description.abstract This paper begins with an overview of the legal landscape in the United Kingdom as it has developed over the past decade or so in relation to the promotion and protection of religious liberty. It analyses several of the more recent cases on the subject and seeks to identify trends and trajectories for future development in the light of the parallel supervisory jurisdiction exercised by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. en_ZA
