At least two noteworthy features of the implementation of the South African
Schools Act 84 of 1996 (‘‘the Schools Act’’) over the past few years are that
there have been various amendments and talk of amendments to this legislation,
as well as many instances where it has been misconstrued or simply ignored by some of the various role-players. |
