Huletts Headquarters in Durban is designed according to fenomenological principles. This survey indicates that the building is not merely the result of certain functional considerations, but that it implements the phenomenological ideal to complement the needs of man and to harmonise with nature (the surrounding landscape). Huletts Headquarters creates an experience of existential well-being, supported by the influence of the "genius loci" tradition of classical Greek architecture. |
