Abstract:
The envisaged versification of all 150 psalms in Afrikaans has been completed. The article focuses on the following aspects: the Psalter as a song
book; the Psalter as a poetry book; the new versification of the Psalter in Afrikaans; a comparison between three versifications; and the melodies of the versificated Psalter.
