Beginning in 2006, the project has been anchored in the Body Politics post-graduate course entitled ‘Gendered and Cultural Readings of Home,
Citizenship and Cities’. As the course progressed, we built the conceptual foundation, a place and the process through which we generated a transdisciplinary conversation to read, research and reflect on identities, gendered
subjectivities and agency, explored through ideas and practices related to home, struggles for citizenship and a reading of cities from this rich, diverse local base. |
