dc.description.abstract In patients with pheochromocytomas it is well known that different factors can precipitate an acute pheochromocytoma crisis. Our patient presented with a vesicular skin rash and respiratory distress suggestive of disseminated varicella zoster for which he was treated with steroids and acyclovir. Two days later hypertension was noted for the first time. en_US
