Abstract: Photo taken of Illtyd Buller Pole Evans, a botanist. He was one of the founders of the Transvaal Biological Society in 1907. In 1911 he became part of the Department of Agriculture as one of Arnold Theiler's associates responsible for plant pathology and mycology.
