ENGLISH: Literature on brain functioning and development reveals
applicable aspects for improving beginner piano teaching:
• Using the young brain’s plasticity in reaction to stimuli
• A window of opportunity for optimal achievement
• Importance of early piano tuition
• Development of absolute pitch with early piano tuition
• Development of optimal technique as a result of early
music tuition
• Importance of sufficient repetition for technical skill
and fixing information in long- term memory
• Group music tuition for young learners
• Interaction between the environment and individuals’
genetic potential for optimal musical achievement
• Role and influence of emotion, secreted chemicals and
hormones on musical achievement
• Discipline and the relationship between teacher and
pupil. |
